So if your Muscle nutrition plan calorie level requires 3 meals and 2 snacks each day, you can choose to have one snack before and one after your workout. You can also time one of your meals to come after a workout. It really depends on your schedule. You also may consider having a protein shake as a snack after your workout to get quick digesting carbs and protein, which is associated with slightly higher protein synthesis and muscle gains.
Overall, pre- and post-workout nutrition is vastly overblown in terms of importance for you to build muscle.
