How many grams of protein should I eat each day?

The BuiltLean nutrition program has been designed to meet your caloric and protein needs while helping you lose fat and preserve lean muscle. As long as you're following the nutrition plan, you don't need to be concerned about how much protein you're eating per day.

Otherwise, if you're focused on losing body fat without losing muscle, you should eat roughly 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass. If your goal is to build muscle, you should eat roughly 1 gram per pound of body weight.
